God Is In Control

"Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord,
the people whom He has chosen as His heritage" - Psalm 33:12

Today is big day for our nation. Today we get a new president. Looking back over the past year and all the drama that took place with the two candidates, I'm relieved that it's over.


I can't say I'm thrilled about our new president, but I know one thing, and this one thing has been my only comfort throughout the election - God is in control. My hope is not in this country, or in the leaders, my hope is in God.


"Many are the plans in the mind of a man,
but it is the purpose of the Lord that will stand." - Proverbs 19:21

    God uses all leaders to accomplish His will. We are hopeful that the direction of this country will be positive, but according to the Bible, our world is only going to get worse and worse.
